This year’s winners include the team at Fix Radio behind The Bald Builders Breakfast who won gold in the Entertainment category and newcomers to the APAs, Becky and Ben Saer who won in Ensemble Cast/Presenting Team for their podcast, Becky and Ben’s Fertility Spotlight. Three new categories were introduced for 2025. Wajid Yaseen and Steve Urquhart (Modus Arts) took gold in the hugely popular History category for Tape Letters Scotland, a project shining a light on the practice of recording and sending messages on cassette tape by Pakistanis who migrated and settled in the UK between 1960-1980. The team at RAW/Audible won in True Crime for Cursed, presented by Femi Oke, who also picked up gold for Presenter/Host. The QueerAF podcast & Trans+ History Week won the Changemaker Award for a 6 part series of mini-documentaries about gender-diverse communities throughout history at a pivotal time.

In the new talent categories, Scout Tzofiya Bolton (Prison Radio Association) won the New Voice title and Mia Thornton (BBC Sounds Audio Lab/Reform Radio) took home the gold for New Producer.

Bella Soames (DMG Media) was crowned Producer of the Year, Prison Radio Association was named Production Company of the Year, and Fix Radio took home Publisher/Network of the Year. The AudioUK Award was presented to the team at Crossed Wires Festival in recognition of their outstanding contribution to championing the UK podcast and audio industry.
