The Role:
We are seeking an ambitious, commercially savvy, and future-facing Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead AudioUK into its next phase of growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape the evolution of the UK’s podcasting and audio ecosystem and to influence the wider creative economy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Public Representation: Be the visible advocate for the industry at events, panels, and in media.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a small but high-performing team, fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.
About You:
You are an inspiring, commercially-minded leader with a passion for the creative podcasting and audio industry. You will bring:
- Proven experience leading within a membership organisation, creative industry body, or relevant commercial industry business.
- Strong commercial and financial skills, including P&L oversight, governance, and revenue generation.
- Deep understanding of the podcasting and audio industry, including emerging formats and business models.
- Track record of influencing policy, negotiating partnerships, and representing an industry voice at senior levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, inclusive leadership style and ability to manage high-performing teams.
- Flexibility to travel across the UK regularly.
