We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Event Producer to help deliver APAs this year, AudioUK’s flagship awards programme.

The APAs is one of the leading industry award shows that recognises and celebrates production and technical talent in the UK podcast and audio industry. They remain unique in that they are the only awards body celebrating production and technical talent of those making the magic happen behind the scenes, as well as those in front of the mic, and the networks behind them.

The Awards are now in their 15th year and are open to all forms of content from podcasts, to radio, audiobooks, narration, publishers, networks, sound design and more. The programme culminates with a celebrity hosted ceremony at the BFI in London in November with the best of the UK podcast and audio industry in attendance.

The APAs Lead Producer is looking for an Assistant Event Producer to come on board to support the final stages of the programme with a focus on the show build. The ideal candidate will have event management experience (approx 1 year). This is a freelance position with flexible hours, making it an excellent addition to a portfolio career. The expected time commitment is approximately 5 days per month, but the successful candidate will manage their time based on deliverables.
