Audio UK has done two things to help Indie producers work more sustainably:
Firstly, this year’s Audio Production Awards will feature a Sustainability Category to recognise and value productions which are changing the conversation and inspiring positive change around sustainability (deadline 21 September)
And secondly, we are compiling a document to help producers, indies and freelancers feel empowered and inspired in their own practise. This is a working document we’re launching today and we are inviting our colleagues from across the industry to help input ideas and processes to build this resource and help make the practical side of audio production greener.
These are up to the individual to decide what they are able to afford and achieve and it’s not a directive.
